2006 Drum Horse Gelding

Chew Mill Guinness x Blue Bell

This special colt was born May 11,2006. He is going to be a big boy, averaging 16.3 or 17 hands! This cross is by two Drum Horses, actually bred in England for potential Drum Horse purposes. Both DT’s sire and dam were imported from England out of Drum Horse breeding and are only one of less than 6 originals in the country!!

DT is out of our mare, Blue Bell, who descends from an English Drum Horse mare named Juniper, owned by The Queen of England, and Chew Mill Guinness, who is out of Galway Warrior also said to have been owned by The Queen.

We think this guy would do great in a riding discipline, however, we would love to see him in driving!!!

He is a half brother to Killian’s Irish Red and full brother to Drum Horse mare Thistle, also for sale.

Below: Picture of “DT” taken in October of 2007. He is not clean, but he is showing off his wonderful movement, typical of Guinness and Bell babies! With his elastic gaits and expressive movement, we think he would be a nice dressage prospect or even potentially a nice driving horse.

Update!!! This Horse’s sire just won the Annual Gypsy and Drum Horse Classic Drum Horse Stallion Class as well as the Drum Horse Championship
